Dog has developed black skin/rash on stomach - please help!!

Hello fellow pup lovers! My little fur baby started developing a rash / black skin on her stomach (mainly by the groin and arm pit) around last Sept. My vet said it might be from her food, so I switched her over to "Holistic Effect" food (which is better so I've heard??) and the rash is still there. I don't really want to spend a lot of money get tests done at the vet to see what is wrong with her, but I am worried! Here are some pictures from Sept and from now. If you and your pup have ever had anything similar can you please help me out!! I appreciate it <3
