My Spanish neighbors own a dog and they never let it inside. They keep the dog outside on the porch with a food and water dish and a gate around the porch so it wouldn't escape. Anytime somebody would go in the house, the dog would try to go inside, but they'd just put it back outside. They would keep it outside in freezing weather. The dog would sometimes scratch on the door to come inside and we could hear it cry. Earlier today, the dog ran out and stood on our porch. The poor baby looked like it had never taken a bath in ages. We wanted to take it inside so badly, but we knew it was their dog. I honestly don't know what to do, please help. Thank you.
