About a month ago I came home to find my neighbor outside asking me to please fix the fence because my dogs had gotten loose and he was able to open his gate and let them loose on the street now take in mind it's his fence not my mine the next day I went to the local shelter to pick up my dogs as I was in there they told me that my dogs had gotten into an incident with another dog and the owner had to rush his dog to the ER around a week later a guy calls me saying hey your dogs attacked my dog and I just wanted you to pay the fine of $800 of medical bills and treatment for my dog I had to agree with it since they were my dogs and I didn't want to make a bigger issue now what I want to know is can I make my neighbor pay some of the fines because it is his fence and I have done everything I could to secure my side of the fence so my dogs don't get out but they somehow managed away to go through the fence my neighbor's been told for 5 years now to fix his fence but I still haven't seen him done anything

Help me figure out what cartoon this was!

I think it was on in the 1960s-1970s. Two dogs in some sort of uniform. One was tall like Scooby Doo and the other was short and gruff. They wore civil war style hats. Not Deputy Dawg, not Augie Doggie. I have done a combination of Google image searches and found nothing remotely close to it. Any ideas?

The best doggos last days

Hey everyone... I'm new to this subreddit, but I recently received some bad news about a friends pit bull that I have really grown to love.

Its hard to describe how cool this dog is. The normal pit bull stretches, tippy taps, and smiles; but he is also pretty shrewd, loved people and is a strangely good judge of character. He has a big heart.

They were going to the Vets today after getting a second opinion... My little buddy had a lot of blood in his urine - one vet said it wasn't a big deal, no tests were needed and just keep an eye. It got worse aggressively and a second vet was contacted. The second vet claimed the issue was extremely urgent and required thorough testing from the start, they scheduled a procedure, which was completed today - results; aggressive cancer in the bladder. Prognosis: weeks to months at best.

I am pretty frustrated, I know some vets in the area from my time as an undergrad and I plan on contacting them to get their advice, but in the short term...

I was wondering if this sub had some advice about giving the best doggo the best weeks of his life, and if anyone has dealt with negligent vets.
