our dog just died this afternoon, and my mom was offered yesterday of adopting another dog

So our dog just died today. His name is Mlepnos (my sister named him because she loves brooklyn nine nine). My sister found him when he was a puppy. He was on the side of the street and wet from the rain. We were at first conflicted of taking him because we already have a dog (Manny), and my parents don't want another one. We considered of giving him away to a dog shelter but my sister don't trust those people. Our conscience can't take it so we brought him home. My parents then learned to like him (my mom cried when we were burying him today).

He got sick 2 days ago and we brought him to a clinic. He was confined and my sister was the contact of the veterinarian. The doctor announced his death this while my sister was going to the clinic from school. She was at a jeepney (a Philippine transport vehicle) when she heard it and she was crying there. When me and our other sister heard it, I just got overwhelmed and then started to cry too. I'm sad because his birthday (the month we found him) is on August and he was just 7 months old when he died... Now it feels like there's something missing in my home now. The dogs following you around was lessen. You know the feeling when a dog is just excited to see you as you are happy to see him. It makes me cry now and I'm sad thinking about it....

My mom shared to us that she was offered by a relative of giving us a dog. I'm not sure because it wasn't even 2 days since Mlepnos died and I feel guilty about it. I haven't talk to my mom about it yet, and they plan on visiting the puppy tomorrow.

The day my dog died, my friend, my proud

Last week on Friday my dog died because of cancer. My dog was with me for almost 10 years (I got her when I turned 6) I trained her and she became an awesome friend. She meant everything to me. She was there for me when I was crying because of my parents (they were always fighting) she comforted me and now she isn't there anymore. To comfort me, to give me little kisses and to be my friend. I don't know what I need to do. I am constantly crying and I can't calm down. Luckily I have a friend who is looking for a way to make me laugh or comfort me. Just like my dog. Please remember that there will always be a person who supports you. And that you can be that person, that you can help others.
