I've noticed that on many dog/pet related subreddits, there is a lot of talk about how to keep your dog healthy, and nutrition is a topic that often comes up.
For those of you who are interested in learning more about keeping your dog healthy through nutrition, I invite you to a new subreddit [r/DogVitamins] that will cover vitamins and other natural dietary topics for dogs.
This group will be dedicated to sharing both science-based research and personal experiences using natural remedies to keep your dog healthy.
Almost 1/3 of households with dogs in the US are using supplements, so let's share our knowledge with one another to help keep all of our pets happy and healthy.
My Golden Retriever that I and my family has had for 14 years, that I grew up with will be put down today to end the pain he is in, it was not my choice but perhaps it is for the best.
I have not seen him for a month since I am abroad and working. Knowing he will die in just a few hours is extremely painful to know, knowing I am not there for him, I can't say goodbye or anything.
Do you have any tips at all how to deal with this?
