My dog, a English Labrador, is 1 year and 5 months old. We were told by the vet to not encourage barking in him but let him bark from time to time. That's the problem though. Around 6 months old he stopped barking and growling. He does whimper, but mainly when he experiences hip dysplasia, which otherwise, just looks at you when he gets hurt. He's over a year old now and won't make much sound, any help?
The app is called "Adopt a Doggy Quiz" and can be downloaded for free in Google Play Store. It is a simple quiz app in which you guess the breed of a shelter dog. Afterwards a link to the animal welfare organization pops up, in which the shelter dog can be adopted. If you are looking for a dog, check out all the cute shelter dogs in the app!
I just had a 6-foot fence installed recently and my adorable escape artist has proven me foolish and has jumped over the board-on-board fence without using the rails as footholds at all - just puts her front feet on the top and pull-ups over the top. I've seen coyote rollers and various brackets that extend into the yard to overhand into the yard with netting/chicken wire to block her from getting to the top. Also considered an invisible fence placed just inside my wood fence to prevent her from getting to the wood fence but not sure if I want to drop another 1-2k to get that installed...Any other thoughts for keeping her safely in the backyard?? She's a recent rescue and I'm still working on training but would like a bullet-proof solution regardless...
