[Discussion] I am in contact with a couple of reputable breeders and let them know I wouldn't be opposed to an older puppy (not an adult). The one closest to me said she may have one and she'll let me know within the week. The other has 2 six month old puppies.
Do older puppies have any price difference than younger puppies? Why would a breeder have older puppies? I have done plenty of reading up on the breed (Cavalier King Charles Spaniel) and have sought out the best breeders who guarantee health testing and testing on parents/grandparents. Both breeders actively show their dogs as well.
