So this semester I got a dog. Me and my roommate talked about it a lot over the summer and agreed upon it. For some reason, just these last couple weeks, the dog has starting peeing/pooping only in my roommate's room. She is completely house trained, and I have no idea where the behavior came from. I take her out plenty of times throughout the day too. Every time I clean it up for her, and I had a lengthy text discussion with her that she will just have to be kept out of the room.. However, my roommate has completely stopped talking to me and slams the door constantly. I don't know what more I can do- I feel like I've been doing my best and my roommate - who is one of my closest friends on campus since freshman year- just ignores me. It's extra frustrating because each time it happened she said "don't worry it happens" and has completely done a 180. I feel like sh** and am not even comfortable being in my own home. Does anyone have any idea why this would happen/ how I can fix it?
Hi, me and my boyfriend have had our german shepard/border collie puppy for about 3 months now, we picked him up from a farm. He is a wonderful mix of two very smart breeds, but he is also stubborn. This post may gross some out, but we are having an incredibly difficult time training him to go #2 outside. He mostly goes pee outside now, that took a few weeks. but, he never will go poop when let out. It is so random when he does it in the house, I will turn away from him in for about 5 mins and look back, and he has done a #2 on the carpet and hasnt made a sound. He never lets me know when he has to pee either, but when i am not at work, i take him out every 3 hours at most. Here's some of the ways I've tried to train him. I have showed him his feces and said "poop" and tried repeating the word over and over before cleaning it up and saying "bad or no" also. I have relocated the poop outside and told him "good boy" and he is very curious of it. I show him it every time I take him out to the bathroom after that. He watches me clean it up everytime and looks like he feels bad, but I have no idea what else I could do to train him better. Has anyone else gone through this? Any advice helps! My boyfriend has raised several pups and has never had a puppy this diffult to train. LONG STORY SHORT: I need advice on potty training my dog, especially with going #2 outside!
Help me! My dog is way too overexcited all the time. She jumps on me and tries to sit on me, ends up scratching my face, my arms, my chest. She has gotten into playful biting, but nothing serious. She's always trying to jump up, lean on me, be in my way of whatever I'm doing. It's beginning to get super annoying. If I go to get in bed, she jumps on it before me and stands in my way. When I finally push her over to lay down, she jumps on top of me, tried to play by getting all over me and pinning me down. I keep pushing her off and telling her no but it's no use. I have to turn my back on her, and be facing the very edge of the bed so she can't get in front of me before she decides to calm down a little bit, and that only works half the time. The other half she just keeps jumping on me and scratching at me trying to get me to roll over. She also stretches out and pushes me on the bed, making more room for herself. She's very loving and playful in all of this, she clearly just wants to love me. But she's too aggressive of a lover for me to handle. I've tried ignoring her when she's over excited, but that only works so far when she's constantly in my way and jumping on me. When I don't give her attention, sometimes she bites my feet and ankles and scratches at me. Just needing some advice. Anyone please help!
