I'm sorry if this is not the correct place to be posting! (I don't fully understand reddit quite yet.)
I have a 4 year old Siberian Husky, Un-neutered due to medical reasons and per my vets advising me not to.
So last year I moved from a small town to the country. I used to be able to walk him everyday in the winter when I lived in the "city" because roads got plowed and sidewalks existed. Out where I live now, there is no sidewalks and the roads barely get plowed. It makes it way too dangerous for me to walk let alone walk a pulling husky. I've already had people go into the ditch "AKA my yard" 3 times this week. So between cars and just being slippery it's just way too risky to walk him.
What would be a good way to exercise him that doesn't involve the road, I wouldn't be able to train him to pull a sled as the snow isn't right for it.
I've tried fetch, training, hide and seek with treats.. I'm going insane as well as I'm sure he is too.
Also I can't afford a treadmill currently otherwise I'd have one in a heartbeat!!
