9yr old Mini Poodle vomited frothy yellow bile with specks of blood throughout. She vomited about a quarter of the amount about an hour or so before this and that was lighter yellow with no blood or any specks. She would not take her favorite Tuckers chicken jerky treat today, so that means she is definitely feeling sick. She also vomited once earlier this week but has still been eating her meals 2x per day. She is not lethargic today, has been wanting to go outside more than normal but just to walk around and sniff, not to poop or eat anything. I suspect she is looking for grass, but there is snow so she can't find any. Her stool this morning was solid and not black. Vomiting isn't uncommon for her, she has a sensitive stomach, however we haven't seen blood in it before. We feed her Stella & Chewy freeze dried and add ~1tsp of coconut oil to breakfast daily. I've done a google search and it says that blood in vomit usually indicates immediate medical attention, but it was a very small amount and is bright red, not black like coffee grounds. Does any have experience with this? Help! Link to photos
Does anyone have any history with dog pancreatitis? My pup is currently at the vet for the 2nd day (and tomorrow as well) on IVs because his pancreatitis is not getting better. I would love to hear some good outcomes so I don't drive myself crazy tonight thinking the worst
