My dog is 5 years old and otherwise happy and healthy. But unfortunately two weeks ago, during the annual teeth cleaning, the doctors decided to pull out some of her teeth ( 3 canines, two small incisors).
She seems fine - she eats, plays, sleeeeeeeps BUT often she stops whatever she is doing and just starts licking herself, the air, her toys, our blanket, us. 10 minutes later she stops, until next time. Is it normal that after losing the teeth she feels a bit uncomfortable and licks? I'm worried that this will turn into a permanent habit. Anyone ever experienced this with their little ones?

So excited! I've had this little puppy for a week. She's a sweet lab and she's going to her new home in the country today. She's going to have two little girls to keep her company along with their stay at home Mom. At only 7 weeks she already survived a disease that used to be a death sentence. And an upper respiratory infection. And ringworm. She's now happy and healthy and ready to move on! Seems like there is always a shortage of good news in the world so I wanted to share.

It's my German shep/husky mixes 2nd bday and I really want to take him out for the day! He doesnt get to go out much lately so I know a fun day out will excite him for sure.
The thing is my area doesnt exactly have many pet friendly places around.
he LOVES people and inwas thinking maybe making a sign to put on him (have no idea how though) that basically will say "it's my bday please give me pets" so he can have extra attention.
I'm just at a loss of where I can go that has a lot of people and how to put a sign on a very active dog lol.
If anyone has any ideas on how I can make his day even better than please let me know!!!
