My dog is allowed to go on the bed and couch, and she does hop onto them when my girlfriend hangs out with her on the bed/ couch. But when I start sitting on the couch or hop onto the bed, she almost always immediately gets down off the bed/ couch and lies down on the floor. She is otherwise very affectionate. She only does this when I get comfortable on the same platform as her. It's not really a problem or anything, but I'm just curious.
Hello
I was wondering if someone had a suggestion for a pool deck surfacing material? The paint we have is getting scraped up by our chocolate lab's claws skittering to jump in the pool. Right now it's a really expensive way to keep his nails trimmed! Thanks!
Ok so we have an Australian shepherd puppy. He's about 6 months and we only had him for a couple of them. We don't do stupid things like fees him chocolate but.... (and this is a big but) my dog has eaten chocolate and is so far alive. In fact we can no longer have chocolate in the house because of him. He went after my fiancé's chocolate that his gave to him (it was from Finland). Later he went to the apartment upstairs (he's figured out how to walk upstairs and open their door) and got on their table and ate their chocolate. We've been having to keep him in his kennel because we can't trust him (or the downstairs kids because I have already seen one of them chase after him and try to hit him with his toy sword.) we do let him out during the day as long as there is someone out there watching him. He can also eat corn off the cob. He goes through the trash and brings it all over the lawn or living room. He's crazy, but I love him.
I was walking back from the dollar general this evening and I was thinking. I've held down a good amount of dogs in my day. I don't know if I should be proud of not. I was wondering if anyone else has held down a dog and if so why?
