I got a dog for the first time. She's a terrier mix of some kind. Looks a lot like a jack Russell except 30lbs. She can be lovely except her energy at night goes crazy. She bites to play and runs outside like a greyhound. She cries like crazy in the crate. She eats anything. She just ate my Mac power cord from work and I have to buy anew one which is fine but now I'm all worried about her passing all the pieces she ate.
Basically, I'm getting a trainer on Wednesday but I'm starting to feel like this was a terrible decision. I'm someone who needs to relax sometimes and I can't even sleep because she gets up so early and I have to put her to bed so late. It's not even enjoyable.
Even worse, my cat is so upset that I don't even get to enjoy my time with my kitty anymore. What do I do?
Edit: she's about 9 months
I am going to have a big yard and will make sure to exercise my dog a lot as I myself am trying to get into shape as well. I would like a dog with less health risks than the average dog. I can groom my dog 1-2 times in the week and would get him like 3-4 visits to the groomer (I'm not sure how less is too less). I'd want him to be a good watchdog and guard dog but if he is somewhat moderately a guard dog, I'll take it too. And the dog needs to be tolerant of very cold and very humid/hot temperature.
If you have a new dog, then you may think nail cutting is the very complicated task, but it's not true. This job needs patience. With the nail clipper you can easily cut your dog nails. So, you can check here steps for using metal guard clippers.
Does anyone know where I can get a puppy?
Ppl told me to Google the place for adopting a puppy but it look like a Pet Shop and I dont want it.
Does Craiglist safe for it?
I'm in Dallas, Texas. I'm looking for a Corgi.
So does anyone else have a Black Lab that drives you crazy....She has started to tear shit up....RRRRRGGGGHHHH!
