If your dog does not, hold its collar in one hand and use your other hand to tuck its hindquarters into a sitting position. Give the command ''SIT'' as you do this instantly reward the dog with a food treat and a verbal ''Good dog''. Eventually, you will give the ''Sit'' command when you are walking with your dog and you stop, or when it is playing and you want its attention. Avoid overexcitement. If meals are so exciting that your dog cannot concentrate on your commands, do not use the meal as a reward. Train on a fuller stomach, using less stimulating but still interesting rewards. Never give a command without ensuring that your dog complies. If you do so, you are actively training your dog to disregard that command. -- 1-- Facing the puppy, move away with the leash in your left hand and a food treat in your right. Keeping calm and trying not to excite the puppy, tell it to come to you as you show it the food.---2---When the puppy reaches you, slowly move the treat up and over its head. Okay so dogs don't understand that 1) they're cute, 2) therefore we pet them. So maybe they just think humans are always really nice for no reason to them. (Even humans they don't know haha)
i was looking at getting a second dog to add to my family but cant seem to find any IG breeders that currently have puppies or plan on it coming this spring. if anyone has something that could help me out it would be extremely appreciated. can go a fair distance to get a pup so even some bc breeders could works to

Our neighbor got a dog a few months ago and they've been letting the dog crap in our yard - we have talked with them about it several times and lately I've taken to returning the dogs excrement in a bag and leaving it on their porch and that still has not stopped them from letting the dog go in our yard. So I've read online that pouring ammonia or vinegar in the yard should deter the dog. So my question is 1) How often would I need to pour vinegar in my yard 2) Any other ideas on how to handle this? Why they can't just let the fucking dog go in their front or backyard I don't know, all I know is I'm getting really sick of it shitting in our yard and I'm so fed up that I'm this close to taking it and smearing it on their car.
