At least she likes the coat.

TL:DR picked up little bro from school and went for drinks that night. Came back to find shit in my room. Spanked dog and when I went to take him outside after. He growled and bit me. Maltese dog trusts me more than brother.
So right before I left for drinks my room was fine and my dog never does his business in my room. He's learned from experience. When I came back buzzed I found out he shat in my room and I spanked him for it. Then 5 minutes later I went to take him out for a walk and he started snarling at me. (He's never done this before) then he bit my hand when I went to take him out. Didn't break skin though. What should I do and were his actions warrented?

Has anyone have any long term health issues with their tripod dogs? As in different forms of arthritis?

Ingredients
• 1 cup chicken broth • Quarter cup olive oil • 1½ cup flour (whole wheat) • 1½ teaspoon dry yeast • 1½ cup whole wheat flour • 1½ cup white flour (unbleached) • Quarter cup oat bran or oat bran cereal • 2 teaspoons chicken bouillon • 1 cup chopped and cooked chicken (can be canned chicken)
Preparation
• Place all these ingredients in a bread maker • Set bread machine on "Dough" • When the dough is ready, take it out and divide it up into 3 parts • Roll each one into a sheet with a rolling pin. Should be around 1/8-inch thick for smaller bones, ¼-inch thick for bigger bones and ½-inch for the longer bones that are about 5 inches long. • Cut the bones with a cutter making sure it's got plenty of flour on so the dough doesn't stick • Bake the bones at 275 F. The small bones will only take a few minutes with the larger ones taking about an hour and 15 minutes or so. • Turn oven off and leave the bones in the oven to stay overnight or for a few hours. The bigger bones will take a bit longer than the small ones to dry. They should be crispy hard when ready. • You can store them at room temperature for some months in a cool and dry place. Keep in a refrigerator in an airtight container if you want them to last even longer.
• 2 Eggs • ½ cup flour (whole wheat) • 1½ pounds beef liver (divided into two)
• Turn oven on to 175 C • Add liver to the food processor and shred into small pieces • Mix in eggs and flour, adding to the processor. With a spoon, mix all ingredients together and once smooth, place on a baking tray and bake for around 15 minutes. • Cut into shapes and store in a sealed container in the refrigerator.
• 2 cups brown rice cooked • 2 cups turkey (ground up) • 1 cup kidney beans cooked • 1 egg beaten • 1 tablespoon olive oil • Add a 10,000 IU Vitamin A capsule and vitamin B capsule in • Tiny bit of salt (iodized)
• Fry turkey until brownish • Take oil from capsules and mix with the cooked turkey • Then mix up all the other ingredients with the turkey mixture thoroughly and serve to your dog.

I have two Westiepoos , named Daisy and Lilly, that are twin sisters , aged 13, that have periodontal disease (stage 3). I can not afford to get the treatment that they both need to get rid of this disease (over $1500) so I am wondering if anyone knows any complete at home treatments I can do that can help slow this disease down in my 2 beautiful puppies. Please help!
