Hi all,
I have an 80 lbs, 12 month old chocolate lab who we are neutering soon. We were trying to wait until 12-months but he is out of control with the "hormonal" behaviors.
We were quoted nearly $800 from a vet to do the procedure:
We are in the DC area, so I understand that cost of living may be influencing this cost, but just wanted a second opinion!
Thanks!

My golden retriever (charlie) is a bit over a year old, he lives with this 9 year old cockapoo named bella (cocker spaniel poodle mix). When he was younger he was a nibbler, only eating a small bit every once in a while. But bella would always eat his food because she's a gobbler, we tried raising his food up so she couldn't reach it, but that didn't work, so we put his boal right next to hers so that he would be pressured into eating it all. But now that we've found a dog bowl riser that's high enough to only let charlie eat from it, we want him to be a nibbler again. But he's turned into a gobbler. So how do I make him a nibbler again?

Anyone know a good place to find a mate for my pug? He just turned 5, enjoys long walks around the block, naps, treats, and going to work with dad.
Hello! I'm adopting a German Shepherd mix. He is 9 months old and is about 45 lbs. I want to keep him around for the longest time possible. What brand of food do you all recommend?

This morning we left our dogs in our backyard and my male dog was able to jump over a brick wall and get into our neighbor's yard. My neighbor's had their back door open and my dog was able to get into their home. The neighbor's parrot was in his cage and my dog was able to get the cage open and kill him. We feel so awful this was their beloved pet. We don't even know how to possibly make this hurt go away for them. We know this is our fault and we immediately went to home Depot and made the fence higher. I just feel so bad. What can we do for our neighbor's ??
I am wondering what age range is best for studding. I want a puppy that is related to my male CKCS. Lifespan is 9-14years and he currently doesn't have any health issues. Thanks!
