I was wondering if anyone has any experience with them. I was reading through all of their information and I like that they have guidelines to protect the handler/dog. I'm hoping to get my boy certified so that we can visit places.
I got a dog but can't find the breed of him.
Any one has a picky dog eater? I've tried loads of things and seems to no avail. I would walk him before meals nothing, turned his feeding instead of 2 to 1, tried kibble, raw, freeze dried, dehydrated. Nothing he just seems to be picky, any dog parents got recommendations??
We are wanting to redo our back yard. Currently, the area the dogs are allowed in has: 1. Grass (mostly dead due to pee, wiping their paws, and eating like it's a gourmet buffet) 2. Gravel (they tend to eat it) 3. River stones (they also tend to eat the ones that can go down) 4. Evergreen trees (when the bark falls off they eat the bark) 5. Cement 6. Brick pavers 7. Dirt 8. Weeds (I try to keep these to a minimum as the dogs eat these a well) 9. Evergreen shrubs 10. One mini rose plant (one dog finds the rose buds a delicacy)
As you can see, there is a recurring tend, my two dogs are practically vacuums and will eat anything if I'm not watching like a hawk. In the redesign, I plan to stay away from mulch and probably rocks. I would also prefer to stay away from grass but maybe artificial grass might be nice as they like to roll each other over in play. They are both pointers around 50 lbs each and love to run, jump and wrestle all over the yard.
I would also love to see pictures of anyone's yard who is willing to share for inspiration purposes.
Does anyone have any other ideas for materials to use in a dog safe yard for dogs that like to eat plants, wood and rocks?
We are considering having artificial turf installed in place of our existing grass as our dogs are really hard on grass (it's not just the pee). Does anyone have any good experiences with certain brands? Bad experiences with certain brands? Pros/cons?

I'm dying to know what breed you think my rescue pup is. She is 7 almost 8 months old and we've had her since she was 5 months old. She is 20 inches tall and about 50 lbs. She is officially a "lab/retriever, mix" per vet documents but the shelter thinks she may have some dane in her because she is lean and her white markings. I hear different things from people who see her, anywhere from lab dane mix to lab pit mix. I don't know how reliable those dog DNA test are and I'm super curious. Let me know what you think, her name is Willow :)
