I don't know if I'm in the right sub but maybe someone can answer my question! My dog Cardi was spayed at 4 months old. She's almost a year now. The last few days she's been acting very weird. She stands at the edge if the fence line and whimpers at the dogs across the alley. She's tried to hump my 3 month old male dog 3 times today. And while she's never been a digger, I have 14 holes around my fence line from the last 2 days. I'm not a dog genius but I'd say she's in heat. How can this be if she's had surgery?
We have had my dog teddy for about half a year. We adopted him from a shelter. He was a little scared of me and my little brother at first but he warmed up real quick. But whenever my step brother comes over he barks and barks and barks. He doesn't stop barking till he leaves and sometimes he keeps barking after he leaves. He usually greats him with barks and then goes and hides under a bed or something. He doesn't do this to anybody else. My step brother has a pretty bushy beard. His friends have came over and they have beards to but they arnt near as bushy.
Is there a reason why he is only scared of my step brother and nobody else, also how can we make it so he doesn't do that. It makes it hard for my brother to come over sometimes cuz we get so annoyed by the barking
