My Step-Father is retired on the other side of the coast from us. It's becoming slightly difficult for him to manage with his dog. I am not to aware of the full history of this dog... And I am not sure my stepfather is as well.
We have been wanting a family dog for a long time now. We are thinking about adopting said Pittie into our lives.
What kind of questions do I need to ask and what kind of answers do I need to know in order to ensure this a good fit for our family unit?
Aggression; How can I ensure we're ok? What do I do, say, ask etc?
What else do I need to know as a first time dog owner?
Anything else I should know about the breed, concept of adopting, etc?
