My dog hates when I wash his things
Help! My dog has this issue for clean beds. He had this one bed that he would sleep on all the time. Once it was time for it to get washed, he did not want it anymore. He wouldn't even go near it. He totally avoided it and preferred sleeping on the floor. I thought he just hated the bed. I then bought him a new one and then again when it was time for it to get washed he did not want it anymore. He does this every time I wash his bed or his blanket. I was told to try and not use fabric softener, just detergent, so I did. It did not work because he still doesn't want to sleep on his bed. He will sleep anywhere but his bed. I try to pick him up and lay him in his bed but as soon as I take my hands off of him, he walks away from his bed and lays somewhere else. What does one do with this issue? Is it that he hates clean things or he hates his scent is gone? If it's a personal scent thing, i don't know how to fix that because he just doesn't want to rub himself all over it to get it back to smelling like him. Has anyone else had this issue. I tried looking for solutions online but nothing pops up that is related to my issue.
