Terrible twos with puppy....help?
Hello! I currently have a situation with my almost two year old pup. He was potty trained and knew when it was time to go out and when to eat etc and we have no deviated from that schedule, but about three months ago it's like he hit this terrible twos stage and has unlearned everything we taught him, and is totally defiant. We still enforced training and tried to assert that we were the alphas and even did and still practice reward training, however not much is working. Current problem is in the morning. We will let him out and he will jump on the door and refuse to pee until we feed him first, then if we don't get him immediately back outside he will pee/poop on the floor, heck even after that he will try to pee/poop in the house. Like I said he's been totally potty trained but overnight it's like he forgot and just rather pee all over the kitchen if we don't feed him right off the bat. We are getting pretty desperate. We took him to the vet and no health problems. Is this normal? Any suggestions on what could help?
