CBD oil for a dog with seizures?
Hey everyone, not sure if this is an appropriate place to post so if anyone has a more fitting subreddit for me to post in let me know. Our family dog (Bichon-maltese mix) has had seizures for the majority of his life. They've recently been more frequent (once every month or every other month) and stronger. We just simply can't afford the $5,000 MRI to make sure it's not a brain tumor sadly. The vet put him on phenobarbital Sept 2017 but his tolerance for it keeps increasing (as it does with all dogs) and they've added another medicine as of yesterday. The vet says we won't have more than a few more years with him at most. Has anyone ever tried CBD oil for a dog with seizures? Is it effective? Any recommendations as far as a place to buy at? Any other advice is welcome!
