Sick 8 month old puppy.
Hello everyone. I'm new to Reddit so please forgive me if this is the incorrect subreddit to be posting this. But I adopted an 8 month old Shiba Inu puppy back in October of 2018. (She was 5 mo. then.) We have been in and out of the vet for her having colitis, and she is now on probiotics to help her with that. But I picked her up from day care and she was a little lethargic but I thought that was due to playing all day and being exhausted. She ate her dinner and drank her water fine, slept fine, but still woke up lethargic. Around noon the next day she started throwing up yellow and foamy stomach bile. She threw up probably 4 times in a 2 hour window. I've known historically that this sometimes is due to waiting too long between meal times, so I gave her a little food early to coat her tummy, and she was fine after that. Still lethargic but perks up for food or to run downstairs. But again at 2 AM I was woken up to her vomiting again. I called our emergency clinic and they think to just wait until I can get to my regular vet. But I'm worried because she is not comfortable. She isn't crying in pain but she is laying in weird positions, squinting her eyes, trying to lick herself constantly, and seems to be weakening. (Seems wobbly when she first stands up, lays down and almost falls instead of an easy transition.) She is also fluctuating in her bowel health. Her morning pass was normal, but she passed again at night and it was becoming mushy. I'm currently waiting for my primary vets office to open, but I'm also very anxious about the whole thing. I was wondering if anyone had any similar experiences and what it could possibly be to ease my mind until the office is open. Thank you for any help/advice and again sorry for the long read and first time post potentially being in the wrong category. P.S- She is up to date on all vaccines including parvovirus and rabies.
