It is a Malinois Shepherd who is behind the success of last night's anti-terrorist operation in Jelma (Tunisia). Sent as a scout to inspect the house where the terrorists were hiding, he noticed, upon arriving on the second floor, that the terrorists had left the house but were still visible. Frits then jumped from the second floor, and although injured during the jump, he pursued the terrorists and gave the alert.
During the subsequent exchange of fire, one of the terrorists activated his explosive belt and the explosion wounded the dog. He is now out of danger and in recovery.The anti-terrorist operation was a success, with two deaths and three arrests among the terrorists.
