My Chihuahua puppy didn't want to poop on the floor while I was at work, so he pooped in the tub instead ...

I came home from work to see poop in the tub. I'm grateful that my puppy is making an effort to not poop in the house -- I understand the logic that made him poop in the tub.

That said, if even after wiping up the poo with a paper towel, and using disinfectant spray, is it safe for me to soak in the tub like I used to do, before this incident? ... My concern is about microbial growth from the dog poop, and also about toxins from the poop itself, since I heard that a tiny amount of poo that ends up in the eye, for example, causes people to get pink eye)
