#dog - #Will my dog stop stress-yawning the more she gets used to new environments?

Will my dog stop stress-yawning the more she gets used to new environments?

My 6monther was socialized in nature, in the mountains. I go to therapy in a busy town- totally different environment. As soon as she gets out of the car she cant focus (understandable) and is yawning and panting like crazy. We go into my therapist's office for 40 minutes and she does the same thing in there, but not as extreme. She jumps on my therapist and goes in circles restlessly. She wants to leave. She isnt used to be in enclosed room. She is a free roamer at home. So, I feel like a fucking horrible person putting her in these situations because I dont want her to feel stressed. But at the same time, I feel like she is stressed because it is all soooo new, there is SO much stimulation and she gradually has to get used to it. I thought she would be a dog that hated the car, as soon we got in she would shake, drool, whine, puke 2 minutes in. Over the past 3 months we gradually did longer and longer trips. I had to suck it up when she would puke because I knew she had to get used to it, and the symptoms slowly went away (with my car sickness tricks as well and fun trips). Now she loves the car. What do you think?

PS- Dog is with my 247. She has a crate she goes in whenever she wants, and sleeps in there sometimes. She used to be crated a few times a week for a few hours. That was a few months ago. I dont want to bring her to therapy because of her stress (or should i?) but i dont want to leave her alone at home crated because she isnt used to this. Last time i did this i came home and her treats and kong wasnt even eaten, so i assumed she just cried herself to sleep :-( i could hear her when i left. i dont want her to like suffer......
