Health Question
TL;DR - dog has loose stool and is hungry. I'm looking for suggestions.
Long:
I have 2 great dogs. One of the dogs is having soft stool and always acting hungry. This is a semi-new occurrence. She has always had soft-stool. We remedied the issue for a long time by giving her a bit less food then what was on the packaging (a recommendation from a groomer).
The hunger issue appeared when we changed food from Fromm's to Kirkland. She seemed more hungry, so we gave her more food. But that didn't really solve the hunger issue as she is repeatedly doing unwanted behavior due to hunger (putting paws on counter, licking baby food, begging, etc).
Then, because we are feeding her more her stool is more soft. This is not that big of a deal, except she is needing to go outside in the middle of the night. And she has also started eating dog turds (is this because food has passed through her too quick)?
We compared Kirkland to Fromms with dogfoodadvisor and Kirkland looked like a good fit. It's definitely better for our budget. But this is not the desired effect.
Our vet does not believe she has Crohn's. We're wondering if she has IBS. Does anyone here have a suggestion?
Thanks for the suggestions
