Family Dog
Back in February my family decided to get a "trained" dog. Twist was the so called trainer relayed on a collar that vibrates (can also shock) to take control of him. If it was a good trainer he wouldn't need any collar to train a dog he had for 4 months. We were told he was "cat friendly" and a "non scrap eater" but both are completely wrong. I don't mind good manner dogs and in the past I had a close relationship with a chocolate lab that was a sweetheart, this dog I can't stand sometimes. To me some dogs just don't have cute faces and German Shepherds are one of them. If he was a golden doodle or a chow sense they have those squishable faces the "puppy eyes" would always work. Our poor cats are stuck upstairs because of the cat friendly dog who wants to eat them. I'm going to compare this to the situation with my cats and hopefully it'll make sense. A month prior I got a 2nd bunny after 2 years and 6 days later he so happened to develop an illness after getting the female. My first reaction was to blame the female for stressing him out too much and was about to give her back because I was more worried about my existing rabbit over the one I just got. Turns out it was the runny nose he had a month prior but I was more concerned about my little boy's wellbeing than the female having a home. That's why I compared this to the cats, the cats happiness should be more important than the dog having a home.
