I run a small Pet Grooming Salon in Pepperell MA that just recently opened an online store. We carry thousands of products for your dog or cat. Please give us a shot at www.shoppeticure.com. You will be supporting my Family rather than giving Chewy or Amazon more money, and we appreciate that! Feel free to message us with any questions about pricing or any other concerns you may have! Thank you so much =D

So we're starting our 10 month old rat terrier mix on his adult food - we spent about a week gradually introducing him to his new food by mixing it with his puppy food and he was seemingly doing okay.
We're now at the point of giving him all of his adult food and he's clearly got an upset stomach/loose stool. Last night was his first full meal of his new food. We switched from Natural Balance (duck, brown rice) to a grain-free Merrick brand. According to Dog Food Advisor, it's a big upgrade.
We think it's because he's now fully on just the adult food but I was wondering how long he may have to deal with an upset stomach before being accustomed to the food and getting back to normal. Or how long should we give him on this food before considering other brands. He was perfectly healthy before, so I'm just curious about the process
So our family Dog Mylo a cocker spaniel who is 10 just bit me after 10 years Recently his barking is out of control sometimes just constant it never used to be like this There's been a few times he's snarled at me but never bit me and I've never been aggressive towards him He's now barking at anything to get his food the food we are eating or as soon as the back door open he barks non stop So tonight my auntie was round and she was smoking in the kitchen so I opened the back door To let the smoke out and the barking just erupted I went to place my hand over his mouth as I usually do because he usually stops barking that way and I never do it it In an aggressive manner but this time he just snapped at my hand cutting me in a few places I have to be honest for the first time I've felt like kicking the absolute shit out him because his behaviour in the house leading upto tonight has just slow spiralled out of control It's like he is trying to assert dominance I have to say hadn't my auntie been there I probably would've lost it because I've had enough I'm still angry! I feel like someone's just punched me and I've just let it happen Dunno what to do now

I scooped up Mops about 3 years ago near my friends house in a neighborhood park area and set up posters everywhere for her owners to find her. About two weeks later, surprise! They called! Stating at first that they wanted her back but also lamenting about her apparently being a horrible biting dog that had bitten their pet turtle or something of that nature. Once the phone call concluded, they stated they actually no longer wanted her and that we should just keep her, and of course we did! No idea what breed of dog she is though? Original owners apparently got her from a dog shelter/pound.
Here's a link to the messy Mops: https://imgur.com/a/kNnjb
I believe she's fairly young. Her teeth and gums are in great condition and she has very young/puppy like tendencies and kind of bounds around like a bunny rabbit

Context: I would love to adopt a dog, but have never had one. I want to just clarify how much time I will need to give one a good life so I can plan for it. Detailed responses welcome, especially concerning whether I will need more time when it is a pup etc.
Bonus question: to what extent is it acceptable to leave a dog alone whilst working?
Thanks!
I got a dog my first dog a month ago, she is a Brittany about a year old. She is a very well behaved dog but she has a huge problem with cats when we are on a walk. In the town I live there are a lot of stray cats and it is a huge problem. We may be having the best walk ever with her not pulling at all and then a cat pops in the side of the road and she goes crazy running on it even crying because she can't get it and getting her away from it is even worse because she just freezes looking at the cat. After that she is very tense and starts pulling and doing everything she isn't supposed to for a long time supposing we don't see another cat in the way. It's my biggest problem and I need to address it in some way so I can start enjoying walking her without seeing walks like a chore.
Edit: she also doesn't just lounge at a cat she does the whole thing like she is hunting without any barking, growling or any swift moves and only starts running when she is closer. We assume that she was being trained to hunt hare and birds.

At least she likes the coat.
