New puppy owner. Looking for suggestions on crate bedding!

I'm a first time puppy owner and we just got a 9 week old Australian Shepherd named Fiona.

So far she's been okay in the crate but we've had a few poop accidents at night.

What is the best type of bedding to put down in the crate where it will (a) make her comfortable to lay down at night in and (b) be super easy to clean poop off of?

Cannot get my puppy to bark.

I have been trying to teach my Australian shepard. She only has barked while playing with our other dog and still rarely. I reward her everytime she does and reward our other dog when he does and she doesn't to try and show her what i want. I bark at her, she doesn't respond and looks at me strangely. I cannot her get to bark at anything other than our other dog while playing not at the door sirens other dogs nothing i have tried and am at a loss. I'm trying daily and for 2 weeks straight now with little progress. Please some advise.
