Looking for good quality dog food to feed my two dogs. I have one friend who feeds there dog Blue Buffalo but heard if wasn't that great of food for dogs. My brother in-law feeds his dog Nauture's Recipe but I don't know enough about it, is it good dog food?

.What is the right dog for you? A good family dog is not just for you; it is a companion for both children and parents, a part of family life. Usually, one family member takes charge of the daily responsibilities of feeding, training, and exercising a dog. Large dogs and guarding breeds like the German Shepherd Dog, Doberman Pinscher, and Rottweiler fit the image of "protectors," but before choosing a large breed, think carefully about what you mean by "protection." Unless a dog is specifically trained for protection work, its true role is a deterrent. In one survey, when police asked burglars about the greatest deterrent to breaking into a house, the most common answer was----a barking dog --- which means an alert Yorkshire Terrier offers as much protection as a hulking Rottweiler. All dogs love activity, but some are better equipped for jogging with there owners than others. Choose a high-energy breed or individual only if you have the energy to meet its daily needs. If you want a hunting companion, choose an individual that responds well to command training. All of the sporting breeds - the retrievers, setters, pointers, and spaniels - fit this category. Most, however,are bred as family companions, not for working. If you want a working dog, go to breeders who selectively breed for field trial work or hunting. -- Male or Female-- The two sexes differ in looks and temperament. As with most mammals, male dogs are bigger and more muscular than females. They are more active, demand more play time,and leave more urine marks where they walk then females. Males are naturally more aggressive with other dogs, likely to be more destructive, and have a greater inclination to wander. Untrained, they have a slightly greater risk of snapping at strangers.--Female dogs demand and give more affection and are more companionable than males. This morning at 6:30am opened the door dog said in here pampered princess ass voice .. no daddy .. rain .. I might get wet .. just had my hair did ..and my nails trimmed and painted .. Im no go tinkle in the rain. Im like screw you and your hair .. so went out with her.. she stands on the deck under my umbrella ..and refuses to go down the stairs.
So I went with her.. hit the next to last step .. was slimey from algae and rain, feet went out from under me , shredded my right shin almost to the bone .. lying at the bottom of the steps covered in mud, in horrid pain. She still won't pee ... she is half way under my umbrella and licking my face.. If I wasn't in so much pain I would have killed her !
So we go back inside, after I spent 5 mins trying to get up, not sure if leg was broke or not .. it isn't. She no more hits the door goes straight to the carpet and squats .. I'm like !$!$!!!@!@@@!!!!&!&@@#&!!!! Throw down some paper towels .. go get the leash, grab my coat .. she knows whats up .. she runs .. I grab her, put on the leash ,, and take her outside .. she didn't want to go out I had to place my hand on her butt and give her a shove.
Finally we are outside, she is still trying to drag me and her back in .. I'm like HELL NO .. you're gonna poop if I have to stand out here with you till we are both soaked to the bone ..she finally poops .. OMG what an ordeal
